My words for dinner
Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 08:05PM
So, don't ever let it be said that I'm not a man that can eat my own words. I wrote a post about not getting Twitter. I still don't, but I'm biting the bullet and signing up. I said I wouldn't and I am. I am starting to feel like a cranky old bastard by fighting what ever power I'm tryuing to fight. Fuck it, I'll join the rest of the world and get on this odd little trend.
Let this be a lesson to all of you... Don't ever make proclamations on the internet!

sellout!
if you understand it, please enlighten me and others who still dont get it.
Don't feel too bad man...I made a whole fuss about how twitter must die and everyone involved, and now I'm on it. I still don't 100% like it, but its not that bad...until people start telling you the minutiae about every second of their lives...then I log off...
Downloading tweetdeck makes twitter more bearable though.
Don't do it!
Have some fanboy do it for you!
Plausible deniability!
Ugh. I reallllllly don't get Twatter.
Good luck.
LOL!!! Good luck!
Tell us later, what´s the deal with this stuff... I really don´t get it also.
If you like to keep everyone up to date with what ever ya doing, Twit, if you're more the facebook once in a while or MySpace comment on how ya doing, then I would suggest not too. I did but it was once again another website that I had to keep updating, over and over again!
Either way, good luck!
Peace
Its ok. I never liked tweeter either. But I've recently been hooked onto using dailybooth.com. Its like tweeter but you take a webcam shot of yourself along with it.
shit and giggles http://dailybooth.com/sketchpunk
I really enjoy twitter, especially when follwing creators and editors (some have really great advise in writting, drawwing, submitting work, etc).
I especiallly love following Mike Norton, C B Cebulski, Brian Reed and many more.
I'm already following you & I can't wait to see what you have to say.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, oh man... this was my Facebook status last week...
"Alex just went back on his promise to never, ever, ever join Twitter. I've succumbed. "
I totally feel your pain. But to be fair, I didn't realize exactly how it worked when I first promised to never join. Honestly, is it a waste of time? Probably. But there are definitely some cool aspects to it, like the ability to have your tweets instantly appear on your blog, or webpage, and the ability to update people on your art without having to collect dozens of "friends" you don't know. So far, I kind of like it.
HA HA!
I shot myself in the foot as well...

This got a lot of play on various blogs, and now I'm better known as the Twitter hater than as an illustrator. Great...
