On the Table Today
Monday, March 16, 2009 at 01:54PM Update

In my attempt at using Twitter as a productive tool, I thought I would do a 3 way posting of images from the days work to be added to Twitter, Deviant Art and here. This post will be updated thru out the day as more pages get worked on.
These are some panels from a page on issue 6 of Oz.
More to added later today.

great post man, I love seeing this kind of stuff. The series has been great so far, really enjoying it, your art on it has been fantasic dude.
sweet. I want to get that pen. Are you still penciling digitally? Do you print out on a regular 8.5 x 11 piece of paper or do you have a special printer/paper?
I love the "in the work" pictures you post. keep 'em up
I don´t have Twitter (didn´t care about it), but i will have to get an account also since you are posting there. This photo is great!!
Thank you for your work, You are simply one of the best.
I'm collecting it on single issues but I can't wait to have it as a Hardcover for me and the trades to offer to friends and family.
FRESH.
I saw it on DA, i´m seeing it here, but i won´t see it on tweeter. Still not convinced i should get it.
BTW, as i said on DA already. Great work on these WIPs!
Those look great man!!
Nice! Very cool to see your work as it progresses. Now when I look through the comic, I'll know what it looked like as you were working on it!
Would you mind telling what kind of pen/marker that is your using to ink with??
Freakin sweet. Can't wait to see more.
Discovered your work this weekend and bought the first 4 issues. I am a working artist myself (not in the comics field, I could never do what you guys do) I can't tell you how much I enjoy your work. The character design, composistion and line work are really fantastic. I look forward to the rest of the series and following your work from now on.
What tool is that you are inking with?
Thanks for posting these pics. I love seeing work on the drawing board!
I think he is inking with a Faber-Castel Pitt Pen (Brush tip to be exact).
But I too am curious to see what he is inking with and at what size.
Good work as usual Scottie. See ya in a little over a week in KC.
Pentel Pocket Brush. I don't like the Pitt Pen brush at all. It doesn't last long enough.
