I got Jokes

The Joker will always be one of the coolest characters to draw.  It would be fun to just do a full book of different Joker drawings.  This was me practicing with Painter.  I'm still learning a lot... well, mostly still learning everything about the program.  But I'm sure that I'll start to grasp it even more as I start using it more.  I really want to master the look of a layered oil painting.  A new friend of mine, Nic Klein  is a master of this.  He can expect me to suck out his power via his brain box very soon!

Thanks to everyone for all the time commenting on Oz.  It's great to hear from everyone.

So Painter? I think you are doing a great job. I love the way you color your work so can't wait to see more pieces from you with this software. And yes! Once again, amazing job you are doing on OZ!!

Heavy Tommy Castillo influence here.I know this is a warm up, but please as a one time fan go back to a real pencil and do the coloring with Painter..PLEASE.
The Cintiq is ruining you. You're slowly becoming average.
You check out the guys at Imaginsm Studios, digital work is insane.

I've got Painter IX. Its the bees-knees, but Photoshop has more tutorials, books and reference materials to defer to. The best thing about Painter is the customed brushes and mediums you can choose from. As its more intuitive, I always pencil/ink in Painter and cleanup/color in Photoshop. As soon as Angeloid signs off on it, I'm going to buy a Cintiq - though I've heard that there is a delay from your stylus movement to the cursor on the screen. That scares me.
