The Beautiful People

So my return to regular posts after finishing New X-men has been met with a few hurdles. First I went on vacation for a week and then when I decided to get back to posting, I got called for jury duty. I went to the courthouse with full expectations of being back home in a few hours. But good old Cook County had other plans for me. I spent everyday last week serving on a jury in a civil trail. I am not a fan of getting up at 7a.m. and going downtown to sit in a court room all day listening to attorney's argue over crazy shit. But despite that, it was very interesting to be apart of the system. Whether the system is all fucked up is up to you, but it was a unique experience to say the least.

Todays warm up is one of my favorite Disney villains, Cruella De Ville. I think she is so sick, and maybe one of the most morbid Villains in the Disney animated archives. She wants to skin puppies and wear them...that's some sick shit.

It's been a few weeks since I've really drawn anything, so it's going to take me a few days to get back in the swing of things.

Enjoy

Awe-fuckin-some. I also think Cruella is beyond creepy. Partly because we all have seen these kind of women in real life and they scare us. Sweet.

Man, this is why I want you to post on a more regular basis. I don't care about deadlines and events that consume time in your real life. All I care about is checking your page every other day and being delightfully satisfied with an update. Call me selfish, but hey you took the position of amazing artist, and now you have to put up with us, die-hard fans. Great drawing, man.

Skottie, I first peeped this on MySpace, and I love it! I was called for Jury Duty once, but I got off easy- I sat in a room for about 2-3 hours and got to go home. All I did was read a book and get annoyed by my cold and my sniffles. You weren't allowed to at least doodle on a notepad? Man, JD sucks!

Skottie, awesome drawing ... again! Hey, what's up with you and the New X-Men? I read somewhere that Humberto Ramos (love his work as much as I do yours) was doing the 3 issues that form part of the Messiah Complex story. Do you have a new project running? Or are you (finally) working on a creater-owned project? Whatever you do, don't stop drawing - you're to f**king awesome for that!

Cheerz!

I just got done with your run, or at least what's released of your New X-men run. Burned through the whole thing and can i just that watching your style develop over that run was just a pleasure. i espescially loved the "messy" style choice on the last two. Very brave and very successful. Can't wait to see what you're working on next.

Cook County? As in the Blues Brothers? Did you go by the assessor's office?

Doesn't Joan Rivers remind you a little of Cruella? Dude, drape her in some dalmation pelt and BAM. By the way, YOU STILL FREAKING ROCK!!!!!!! you should offer tutorials or suppm. Bless

Hey enjoy the down time and come back with more strength, plus then is the hard cover of new x-men containing your stint on the title gonna come out.

This morning I finally found the time to read up on the latest New X-men issues I had lying around but not read yet. Since you're done with the series, letters to editors seem a bit pointless, so here it is: I love the recent progress you've made by taking your grungy C&D cover style into the actual comics. I've always loved your work, but this new touch makes it so much more your own! It's absolutely marvellous! Rock on!

I'm I the only one that sees a penis and balls in the shape of Cruella's coat?

No, but you're the only one who will admit it.

My second favorite Disney villain... Maleficent will forever be my favorite... but this is a great rendition of a crazy lady... well done.
