Todays image was done for my live draw session at ustream. It's odd drawing something live, on the spot and hoping it comes out ok. This one didn't quite capture the mood I was going for but I'm still happy with it.
-this was drawn all in Manga Studio.

if you tried to upload it to USTREAM afterwards, you only got the first three minutes up there.
in my opinion, going with portrait instead of landscape with this drawing was your mistake. if the mailbox were still the focus but not dominating the frame so much, and if there were more horizon to isolate the squirrel soldier more, the lonely, mournful thing would have shown up stronger. my 2 cents.
Great result!! Love your lines, always. Manga studio? I have to check it out! :)
Sweet. A much, much cooler version of this.
I love how subtle the piece is ("neat mailbox, oh, wait", but it is a little bottom-heavy.
Great image, sad i missed the ustream though. I've always told people that doing live art is something everyone should try out. It makes you think differently and work on the fly. Plus doing live art at an event is pretty awesome; you get energized by the crowd and music.
