October is here and it's time to post some creepy stuff. The great thing about going for dark images is that you can really just play with shape. This has no detail what so ever but you know exactly what is about to go on. I love that you can make up any number of stories out of this image. Happy F'n Halloween!!!

Fun Image. I think that there needs to be a drink-n-draw around here, with the theme of "Creepy-as-Hell". Your thoughts?
Agreed. 'Cept I'm in Toronto. Drink & Draw in Toronto anyone?

Great work Skottie! YES!! Stories come to mind with this image, some of them makes me think that i need professional help! :)

Wow, very scary, indeed !
The composition is great!
absotutley. you can totally tell he's about to go chop up some firewood in his basement for his lovely family fire.
and by firewood, i mean people. and by family fire, i mean a fire consisting of his family.
zip-a-tone
Sherman, set the wayback machine...
This is why I was scared S%!&*less of the basement as a kid. Thanks for bringing all my childhood nightmares back!!
Yeah, it's amazing what you can do with just black and white imagery...it appears so simple but trying to draw and create that is another challenge completely.
Are you using mechanical dots for shading? That's a very cool effect.
Cheers
Really cool stuff, man. Can't beat plain old black and white, brush and ink. Any news on the stuff you said you were writing before? Really enjoyed your x-men shorts.

Ah, the summer vacations spent at Uncle Willey's Farm deep in the heart of the West Virginia woodland...good times. Dark basements, but good times.
I mean, what?
All kinds of creepshow coolness in this one. Curved steps are always more spook-tacular.
Love this stuff, dude.
I'd like to see you do more black and white and tone like this...you know...kind of like the old Creepy magazine stuff.
Lots of potential.
=s=
Great frig'n sketch as usual!!!
Looks like something nasty already happened upstairs!
Love the contrast in this one.
He's obviously pausing at the top of the steps to ask himself, "Did I leave the iron on?"
Nothing screws up a mass murder like lingering household chores.
